Happy Memorial Day weekend! As we honor those who have fought for our country and celebrate the unofficial start to summer, we want to give you a quick update on summer 2020
We understand that you may be questioning your travel and the status of businesses given the frequently changing information regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). As of now, Twin Lake Village is planning to open for our season on June 27th. That being said we are still waiting for Governor Sununu to approve a date to reopen the lodging industry.
Currently we are working hard, cleaning, painting and prepping. We believe in responsible and safe travel while staying vigilant and following the recommended procedures and protocols.
Rest assured that we will be complying with and going above and beyond the precautionary and mandated measures outlined by both the CDC and the NH Restaurant and Lodging Association to keep our guests, staff and family safe. This will include enhanced cleaning for all touch points, following CDC regulations for cleaning and sanitizing hotel rooms/cottages, having hand sanitizer available and adhering to all social distancing guidelines.
In the dining room we will be following State and CDC restaurant guidelines for table and server distancing if still required. We will also be following current rules for PPP usage for our staff. We have been discussing several options including take-out options and using our old ballroom in the Annex to help space out tables appropriately. The family will be versed in the newest ServeSafe classes and will make sure all standards are met in the kitchen for safety and sanitization.
We understand the need for increased flexibility with travel planning during this time and the importance of feeling safe so we have decided to remove our cancellation policy. If you have to make the difficult decision to not vacation with us this summer you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
We are frustrated that we don’t have more information to share with you at this point. We hope to know more by June 1st. Once we have approval for opening we will be putting together a written plan and sharing it by email, Facebook and on our website. In the meantime, your patience and support are much appreciated! Thank you!
